Returns & Replacements 

What is the return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with an item you purchased on www.coltonlane.com, you can initiate a return within 14 calendar days of delivery by emailing cs@coltonlane.comBe sure to include your Colton Lane order number.

Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned. Items not eligible for return will be marked as “Final Sale” on the product’s description page. Exchanges will not be accepted for these items.

All returnable items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Once the returned item has been received, a refund will be processed within 7-10 business days. Colton Lane reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges for any reason, including damage or misuse of product by the customer.

How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, contact cs@coltonlane.com within 14 calendar days of delivery. For small parcels, a shipping label to be applied to your return shipment will be emailed to you by a Colton Lane Team Member. Drop off the package at the shipping facility noted on the shipping label, usually UPS, FedEx, or DHL. For freight items, contact a Colton Lane Team Member for help in determining the best way to have the item returned. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for return shipping.

Upon receipt of your return, the item will be inspected, and an exchange, credit, or refund will be issued. When applicable, refunds will be applied to the original payment method. A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the credit or refund.

Do you have a restocking fee?

Yes. A 25% restocking fee applies to most items. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact cs@coltonlane.com and include your Colton Lane order number. Items returned without their original packaging will be subject to an additional 10% fee.

What if my item is damaged in transit or is defective?

Upon shipment delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the delivery and to refuse the shipment if the packaging appears damaged. Contact cs@coltonlane.com within 48 hours of shipment refusal for the next steps.

For items damaged in transit, contact cs@coltonlane.com within 48 hours of delivery. Be sure to include photos of the damage. A Colton Lane Team Member will assist you with a claim for your item(s).

For items with a manufacturer’s defect, contact cs@coltonlane.com within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the defect.  A Colton Lane Team Member will assist you in the replacement of your item.

What if I received an incomplete order? 

Your shipment may arrive from multiple ship-from locations, and at different times. To check the balance of your order, email cs@coltonlane.com and a Colton Lane Team Member will assist you.

How do I track a package?

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. Tracking will not be available until the item leaves the warehouse. For assistance, email cs@coltonlane.com.

When can I expect my delivery?

Small parcel items typically arrive within 7-10 business days. Freight items may take between 14-28 business days, or longer depending on the nature of the product. If an item is delayed, a Colton Lane Team Member will reach out to you.

Which countries do you ship to? 

Currently, we ship only within the Continental U.S. For purchases outside the Continental U.S. or within Canada, please contact cs@coltonlane.com with your request.

Do you have a brick and mortar store location?

Not yet! Colton Lane is strictly e-commerce at this time.

What is the warranty for James Martin Vanities?

Please inspect products upon receipt of your delivery. For shipments showing significant exterior damage, please refuse the shipment and have the carrier return it. Most James Martin Vanities are protected by the following warranty. This does not include final sale or discounted items. 

  • 1 year warranty against manufacturer's defects. James Martin will repair or replace any defective product if the product is defective in the material or workmanship, at James Martin's discretion. No warranty is expressed or implied regarding damages resulting from consumer misuse.
